We are not heir hunters and undertake no work on a contingency fee basis – we offer either an hourly rate of fixed fee for all instructions we undertake.
Everything we do is designed to streamline estate administration, to take the effort out of locating the correct people or assets, and to mitigate the risk of future dispute or complications. We can help you at every stage of your clients’ estate administration process.
Tracing Beneficiaries
Title Research can trace beneficiaries in the UK and overseas with fixed fees staring from £450 plus VAT and disbursements regardless of the legacy value due. We are committed to completing every case we undertake and in the unlikely event that we can’t trace a person, we are regulated by the FCA to assist with obtaining Missing beneficiary Indemnity Insurance.

Family Tree Research
Title Research conducts all research either on a fixed fee or time and expense basis. We can commence enquiries into someone’s family tree with just the information contained on their death certificate. Our approach to probate genealogy is comprehensive and we prove everything where possible by documenting all relevant events of birth, marriage, and death. Our research methodologies are accepted by major insurers and we are regulated by the FCA to assist with obtaining suitable policies.

Administrating US and Canadian Shareholdings
Title Research can assist with the transfer and sale of North American shareholdings, including obtaining a Medallion Signature Guarantee where we required. Where US assets exceed $60,000 at sate of death, we can assist with making application to the IRS for tax clearance as part of the double taxation treaty, a requirement of US registrars. We can also assist with encashing investment and bank accounts as well as assets held in several other jurisdictions.
