This session will look at the proposals including:

- Post exchange obligations

2. Impact of short term lets on leasehold covenants
Presented by David Keighley, Solicitor, Author & Trainer
Since 2016 the Courts have regularly found using leasehold property for short-term lets to be a breach of covenant. But does such a use amount to converting a property from residential to business use, thus breaching another covenant? And does it matter if a breach of user covenant is carried out by a sub tenant or on how the user covenant is phrased?
This session will look at the issues including:
- User clauses
- Assignment/parting with possession restriction
- Do Short term lets create Business use?
- Short term lets by sub tenant: Liability of Lessee
