In this session Adam will look at the applications under rule 276B and the problems caused by gaps in lawful residence. Over the last few years there have been a number of significant judgments in this area which Adam will cover. This session will also look at issues surrounding section 3C leave and Immigration Rule 39E.

In this session Priya will cover a vast amount of material to assist practitioners in arguing claims involving victims of trafficking. This will include:

  • The requirements to be met for applications under Appendix FM of the Immigration Rules for Parents of Qualifying Children
  • Applications made with reference to s117B(6) of the Nationality, Immigration and Asylum Act 2002
  • The difficulties surrounding disclosure of documents from family court proceedings
