WeatherNet Ltd

WeatherNet Ltd

With 26 years’ experience, WeatherNet provides legal weather services, historical weather data, forensic meteorologists, and expert witness interpretation to the legal profession and all those involved in criminal or civil litigation.

WeatherNet can assist in all matters of Forensic Meteorology. WeatherNet help lawyers, solicitors, the police force, barristers, insurance companies, the public and the civil engineering and construction community with a cost-effective and accurate analysis of historic weather data where the weather may have affected the outcome of the case.

This historic weather information is given in an easily understood Legal (CPR) Weather Report or as a Witness Statement. All Legal (CPR) Weather Reports and Certified Witness Statements benefit from showing past weather data that is utilised, an interpretation, conclusion and a statement of compliance and truth. This information complies with civil and criminal court requirements (CPR Part 33 and/or 35) and the Jackson reforms.

Legal (Non-CPR) Weather Reports are also available for reference or as a guide only. These legal weather reports cannot be disclosed as evidence in a court of law as the report would not be fully researched and would only show a snapshot of raw daily or hourly data in the surrounding area of the incident.

“Dr Richard Wild’s reports are always clear and concise. On one occasion his report was instrumental in deciding liability issues in a large value claim=, in my client’s favour”.

Susan Williams, Associate, New Law Solicitors

“I am content to say that Dr Wild’s reports have been very thorough and professional and would gladly recommend your services to anybody needing such a report”.

Andrew Christie, Partner, Harding Evans LLP

“I have used WeatherNet on a number of cases and have presented the evidence as part of ongoing crown court proceedings, to a successful conclusion. I have always found their rates to be competitive and their work to be detailed, prompt and professional. They are very “user-friendly” and are happy to respond to queries raised and also advise on what other points they think may be useful”.

Keeley Wilson, Crown Court Legal Advisor, NWS Solicitors

“I would have no hesitation in recommending the services of Dr Richard Wild for a weather report in cases where there is an issue as to whether the occurrence of the accident was caused or contributed to by the prevailing weather conditions, as such a report can mean, and has meant for me, the difference between the success or failure of the case”.

Iain Oliver, Partner, Ison Harrison Solicitors

“I have used the services of WeatherNet on a number of occasions over the last few years. I have found their reports to be most helpful in considering insurance claims. Their Legal Weather Report is most detailed and has proved helpful in Court”.
