Stokenchurch Dog Rescue

We are a small, independent Charity whose sole aim is to ensure that all dogs arriving at our door, receive the love, care and attention needed before we find them safe and loving homes. We rely entirely on the kindness and generosity of our supporters to enable us to continue with this valuable, and sometimes harrowing work.

“I thought I’d send over an update on Dolly-Haze she’s settled in so well. Her toilet training is so good - she rarely has accidents and always asks to go out. She loves watching the fish tank and our new resident turtle and she enjoys chilling on the sofa!

She’s a perfect well-mannered girl that joins us at the pub and out and about where she gets lots of fuss. Thank you so much for bringing this little angel into our lives! Wouldn’t change anything about her!”

“We are so grateful to you and all your staff for bringing Buddy into our lives he is the most beautiful loving little dog; every day we feel we've won the dog lottery.”

“I am pleased to say that Milo has made himself right at home and has proved to be the perfect fit with my dad. I've heard my dad happy and excited for the first time since we lost mum. Milo eats well, sleeps well, his 'rest room breaks' are all good and he asks when he needs to go out. All in all, it couldn't have gone any better. Thanks for all your help and great, friendly service”.

“We were lucky enough to collect the lovely Zoe in May and wanted to send a special thank you to everyone at SDR for helping us and Zoe in the very professional selection process. All the assessments made by the team were spot on she's great with children/other dogs and anyone she meets - although sometimes a little over enthusiastic! She instantly settled into her new home, she really is a wonderful dog, and we love having her around. We are so appreciative of all the good work you all do at SDR and look forward to seeing you at the next fundraiser”.
