Birmingham Dogs Home

Birmingham Dogs Home

Birmingham Dogs Home cares 24 hours a day, every day of the year for abandoned and relinquished dogs from across the West Midlands and South Staffordshire. We have been at the forefront of animal welfare for the Midlands for nearly 130 years and operate from two sites, one near Solihull to the south and the second near Wolverhampton to the north, receiving dogs from nine local authorities who trust us to deliver the best possible care.

We rescue more than 2,000 dogs each year and work tirelessly to give them the physical and emotional rehabilitation they need, including life-saving critical medical care. We do not receive any government funding and are entirely reliant on the generosity of the general public we serve to survive.

We also work in the community with schools and community groups to provide an education programme to educate dog owners of the future on the responsibility of dog ownership. Your support will help us to keep tails wagging today and ensure our charity is still here in the future to continue providing these vital services.
